I would tell others to remember that life is precious, and to not take advantage of what you have. You could indeed leave at any time, enjoy, do something you have never done. Great quality and simplicity.

Remember: Life is so precious

I purchased this product for my 15 year old son about a month after his stay at a mental health facility for suicidal thoughts. This hospital stay came out of nowhere & brought a lot of issues with anxiety into the open. When he returned home he started quoting “memento mori” to me & explaining what it meant to him. About a week later I received an email from Maritime Supply with this necklace. I had to get it for him! When I presented it to him he was immediately emotional & proudly wore it to school today. Thank you for helping me make a silver lining for my baby!

Do the thing that scares you.

I love this necklace. I love being able to explain to people why I bought it. It’s beautifully made, and is a great reminder to myself to DO THAT THING. I’m going to die one day, why not take that last minute trip to Mexico or see a concert you don’t even care about with your sister? You never know who or what you’ll find, and missing any of it would be a shame. Memento Mori.
