Created as a reminder to live in the NOW as you conquer your 2026 new years resolutions.
Hand-casted in the USA, this double sided wax seal pendant features the Latin words MEMENTO MORI with a skull on one side, and the year 2026 in roman numerals with our yesterday / NOW / tomorrow design under it on the other side.
MEMENTO MORI means "Remember you will die." Let this side of the pendant remind you to live every day to its fullest potential, for we are not promised tomorrow - just as the phrase conveys, death is inevitable. This phrase and its imagery (usually a human skull) has been around since the medieval period with roots in classical antiquity and Christianity, but it is still just as relevant today. This is not a morbid message, but instead a positive reminder to make the most of every moment you are given, to recognize the opportunity in every day we wake up and keep breathing. How do you want to live life? To its fullest, or with regrets of joy undiscovered? Life is fleeting, so treasure every gift, and guide others to that same appreciation for life.
"yesterday / NOW / tomorrow" is a reminder that there is no way to change the past and there is no way to predict the future - we only have the present moment to shape and act upon. We want this pendant to serve as motivation not to keep regretting what was left undone and not to keep putting things off until tomorrow, but to seize the moment and start implementing change and intention NOW.
"Your entire life only happens in this moment. The present moment (NOW) is life itself." -Eckhart Tolle
