Maritime Supply Co

Sterling Anchor Necklace & Balboa Skull Coin

$98 $160

For this combo necklace, we paired one of our solid sterling silver anchors with a hand-engraved Panamanian balboa coin featuring a skeleton conquistador in armor on the front-facing side.

Besides the obvious theme of keeping with the coastal and nautical theme of our company, we liked the juxtaposition of the anchor and the skeleton soldier as a callback to another common Maritime motto of “Memento Mori/Memento Vivere. This is especially apt since a normal Balboa coin has a living conquistador’s profile, and the engraving process for our coins re-carves his face into a skull.

Anchor is made of solid sterling silver with "Maritime" stamped vertically down the shaft, and measures 1" wide by 1.5" tall. Balboa coin is 1" in diameter.

26” stainless rolo chain

Silver Anchor/ Brass coin necklace

1st: I am very pleased with your service and the quality of your products. 2nd: for some reason, maybe inattentiveness, I was unaware of your working with disadvantage countries and that part of the cost of an item is used to help others. Nice, I am glad to be apart of your efforts. That is a nice incentive to shop with you all in the future. 3rd: I saw one of your items on a Facebook United States Coast Guard posting by a Coast Guard member who had received one of your pieces of jewelry as a gift. Lucky guy. Thank you all for being there and thank you for your support of the maritime service and well as those in need. Bill Sewell, COO, Sewell & Company Construction, Inc. USCG
