HOLD FAST
Historically, “hold fast” was a command given to sailors when approaching a storm, warning them to grip tight the ship’s rigging to avoid being washed overboard by the waves and rain as the ship plunged through the sea. This necklace will help remind you to weather whatever storm life may throw at you by holding fast to what is important.

Sometimes all you can do is ride out the storm
My life has been a rollercoaster ride of deaths, unfortunate circumstances, and personal illness for the last five years. Now my wife of 18 years has decided to leave. I got this to remind myself to hold on, the worst will end, and I will find smoother waters soon. Well made and already beginning to patina. Thank you.

Family Motto
My wife and I had twin boys last February and in the days leading up to their birth we decided to come up with a family motto; something that we could hold onto in the coming days and the new adventure of parenthood. For a variety of reasons we came up with "Hold Fast". I purchased a pendent for my wife and I to wear to help us remember and purchased 2 to give to my boys when they are old enough. Love the quality and I anticipate them lasting a lifetime

Perfect for a Sailor
This is badass. The history and heritage behind the saying resonates. It’s perfectly executed and totally dope. I wear it under my uniform and give it a little pat pat when **** gets a little tough. IYAOYAS
